BOMBANANA! Communication Guide for Three-Player Co-op
Build clear BOMBANANA! callouts with voice, text, and gestures so the Blind, Deaf, and Mute Monkey roles can combine partial information under pressure.
FAQ
What communication tools does BOMBANANA! support?
Why should players repeat a callout?
Use a fixed callout order
The official game description highlights voice, text chat, and gestures as part of the co-op experience. The tool matters less than the team’s consistency. Use the same four-part order every time.
- Module identifies what the team is looking at.
- Clue names the piece of information being reported.
- State describes the relevant color, position, symbol, or condition.
- Confirm lets the receiving player repeat the action before anyone touches the bomb.
Give the right role the floor
The Blind, Deaf, and Mute Monkey roles mean that the same clue is not equally available to every player. Ask for the role that can verify the information instead of asking the whole team to guess. If a player cannot answer through speech, leave a pause for text or gesture feedback.
Make ambiguity visible
Words such as “there,” “that one,” or “the usual” are dangerous when several clues look similar. Describe a position relative to a fixed reference, name the module first, and say when you are uncertain. A visible “To be confirmed” is safer than a confident guess.
Confirm before acting
The final player at the bomb should repeat the proposed solution. The information holder then confirms or corrects it. This short loop is especially valuable in Endless runs, where procedurally generated waves can make the next module less predictable. Compare the mode differences in the game modes guide, review the three roles guide, and use the bomb modules guide before your next session.
